Gynecology Consultation…. What to expect.
Welcome to Meridia Medical. You have been referred to Dr. Gerber for a Gynecology consultation. We are sensitive to the fact that this can be a nerve wracking experience. A nurse will always be present during your examination to assist you and Dr. Gerber. During the appointment, you will meet Dr. Gerber and the nurse, discuss the reasons why you are seeing Dr Gerber, have a Gynecological examination and, if applicable, a pap test, Ultrasound, or Colposcopy etc. These discussions and examinations are conducted to help make a diagnosis and offer you the best treatment options. If you prefer not to be examined or prefer to be examined at a later date, please let Dr. Gerber or the nurse know. Our goal is to offer you sensitive care: if you feel uncomfortable or overwhelmed, please feel free to let us know.
